Welcome to my profile. I am a licensed mental health counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist and also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am specially trained to work with the negative emotions, thoughts and somatic experiences associated with trauma. Trauma may occur after a single experience or may be the result of a series of negative experiences. My perspective of trauma is that it is individually defined so together with my client we are targeting the life experiences that remain troubling and unresolved.
